Built for

An answering service takes a message. We run the job.

Most shops already pay for something to pick up the phone. The problem is everything after the call: who sends the tech, who updates the contractor, who chases the quote.

Answering service or AI line

  1. Takes a name and number
  2. You call the customer back between jobs
  3. You pick the tech and send the job
  4. You update contractor and warranty portals
  5. Quotes and reviews get forgotten

Pulse Desk

  1. Answers live with your business name
  2. Quotes from your price rules and books the job
  3. Dispatches by skill, priority and distance
  4. Sends ETA, arrival and completion updates
  5. Follows up on quotes and asks for the review

The whole front office, from first ring to five stars.

  1. Inbound calls

Every call answered live with your business name. We quote from your price rules and book the job.

  2. Dispatch

Each job goes to the right tech by skill, priority and distance, so the closest qualified tech gets it.

  3. Job updates

We log every update in your system: Workiz, Housecall Pro, Jobber, or a shared sheet.

  4. Contractor jobs

We take jobs from your contractor and warranty companies and send their on-site updates: ETA, arrival, done.

  5. Price push-back

We handle customers who balk at the price and save jobs that would have canceled.

  6. Follow-ups

Open quotes, return visits and unhappy customers all get a call back, so nothing slips.

  7. Review follow-up Included

We follow up with every finished customer and ask for a review.

  8. Reports & insights Add-on

We analyze your business and find out what works best.

    1. Analyze

We dig into your calls, jobs and techs to see what works and what doesn’t.

    2. Report

Company and technician reports: jobs, revenue and response times.

    3. Improve

Ideas based on your data, so you can drop what doesn’t work and do more of what does.

Live this week, not next quarter.

  1. 10-minute call

You tell us your call volume, the hours you need covered and how you run jobs today.

  2. Set-up

We learn your services, price rules, techs and service area, and get access to your software.

  3. We go live

Forward your line for the hours you choose: after hours, weekends, or the full day.

Shops with a few techs and too many calls.

  • You run 2–5 techs and still answer the phone yourself
  • You’re hiring a dispatcher, or just lost one
  • You pay for an answering service or AI line, but still do the dispatching
  • Evening and weekend calls go to voicemail

Priced by the hours you need covered.

You pay for the hours and call volume you actually have, whether that’s evenings and weekends only or a full 7-day desk. It comes to a fraction of what a local dispatcher costs once you add wages, training, sick days and turnover.

We’ll give you an exact number on the 10-minute call.

Get my price

Run by dispatchers, not a call center.

Pulse Desk Solutions was started by two dispatchers with over five years running the desk for locksmith, garage door, HVAC and plumbing companies. We’ve taken the 2 am lockout calls, juggled techs across a city, and kept warranty companies happy.

We’ve contributed to the growth of numerous businesses, and we’re looking to work with more.

Behind us is a team of experienced dispatchers, all trained on trade calls, so your callers talk to someone who knows the difference between a rekey and a lock change.

We’re goal-oriented. Taking dispatch off your plate is one less worry, and it frees you to work on the things that grow the business.

Questions owners ask us.

Do you set my prices?

No. You give us your price rules and we quote from them. You and your techs stay in control of pricing.

What software do you work in?

Whatever you already use: Workiz, Housecall Pro, Jobber, or a shared sheet. You don’t have to switch anything.

Can you cover just nights and weekends?

Yes. Many shops start with after-hours and weekends only. You only pay for the hours we cover.

What happens when you get more calls than expected?

One dispatcher handles about 50 calls a day. If your volume goes past that, we add a second dispatcher and tell you before it changes your price.

How fast can you start?

Usually within the same week as our call, once we have your price rules and access to your system.

Will callers know they’re talking to an outside company?

We answer with your business name and follow your script. To your customers, we’re your office.

10 minutes. Your numbers. A straight price.

Tell us a bit about your shop and we’ll call you back at a time that suits you. Or call us now.
